I'm in a mood. I usually get in this mood when I spend too much time with my spreadsheets like I have this Monday morning.
I talked about the importance of having goals in my last post. I've talked to a close friend about my tendency to set too many goals, realizing how my brain feeds on this type of activity.
But I felt inspired to write these out today.
Physical health goals -
1. Feed myself intuitively - No black and white goals, but eat with health and a little enjoyment in mind. This includes a healthy relationship with alcohol, which has to be minimal.
2. Continue training for the 15k this spring. Look forward to running a half marathon. From there, find a sweet spot with running. (Hint, it won't be at distances greater than a 10k)
3. I've been in a good run lately with sleep - continue to get 7 hours minimum. (Challenge when you get up to go to the gym at 5am).
Financial health goals -
1. Stay fired up to accomplish the 14 month goal as currently planned.
2. After 14 months, initiate 6262 stage 2 (described below).
Spiritual health -
1. Don't put too much thought in to these goals. Continue to center my mindset on enjoying the moment and not letting my thoughts live in the future.
2. Be solution oriented, and maintain a positive outlook. Particularly, filter everything at work through this. It's been a little trying at work the past couple years, but I need to change my own mindset if this will improve.
3. Stay grounded. Get in nature as often as I can.
6262 stage 2:
My original 14 month calculation put me at Christmas 2019. 6262 (the name of this blog based on interest I paid on debt in 2017), when considered in working hours, is about 3 years and 1 week of work, bringing me to year end 2022. Aggressive financial goals will be set for that time period. It just so happens, its right before the year I turn 40.
I had to kill 6262 to build with 6262.
